Is Facebook Going To Start Charging A Fee?

NO! The rumor that Facebook is going to start charging a monthly fee because of the new profiles is completely false. The hoax continues to spread by user generated spam; please stop reposting it. Facebook has no need to charge a monthly fee with over $3 billion in annual revenue, of which $1 billion is profit. Their homepage answers the question for all to see if there is any doubt.

  3. Facebook makes its money off of selling your information and advertising. If they charged us we would want more rights to our information and they loose money. We would also find other free sites to "get our social on" and they loose money.

Facebook and you- If you're not paying for it, then you are not the customer.
You are the product being sold
